Giveaway blues...

So, I know absolutely NOTHING about giveaways. I was trying to host one, and had it "open" for a week. I got ONE response. Now I know that not all 80-ish followers of this blog actually read it. I know that some people like the numbers and when you have 500 blogs you "follow", you can't be expected to read the ones that interest you less than your favorites. I get that, and I am OK with that. However, I had hoped that I would have a few more people actually participate! I'm curious...is the product itself not appealing to those of you who are reading this? Is it not age appropriate for your kids or grandkids? I'm just really asking because I want to know. Obviously if people actually ARE reading this blog, then there was something about the giveaway itself that wasn't appealing. So, here's your chance to be honest. What wasn't appealing about it?

I contemplated extending the amount of time that the giveaway was open but then I realized that it wouldn't really be fair to my reader Julie who actually entered it. So Julie...YOU WIN; I've sent you an email to finalize it all. I think that the next time I try to do a giveaway I will do a little more research first so that as many people as possible can benefit from it. Because what fun is a giveaway that no one wants???
